Founded in the early 1980s, the society is one of the longest established local history societies in Northern Ireland.
Our 2017-2018 season of public meetings will start on Monday 25th September 2017 at 8:00 pm in the Crieve Centre, The Square, Stewartstown. The topic is:-
'The stuff we threw out: Irish Rural Vernacular Furniture.'

Annual Outing: Our yearly outing for 2017 will take place on the evening of Monday 22nd May 2017. The Society will visit the Ulster Aviation Society's Museum and Permanent Display at their Maze/Long Kesh site, near Lisburn. Members and non-members welcome. Contact our Secretary Aidan Fee for full details.

Bell No. 15 was published before Christmas 2015. Priced at £5 it is obtainable from Sheehys, Cooktown or several shops in Stewartstown & Dungannon. Alternatively contact us on this site. Bell no. 16 is due out Christmas 2017.
